The Siew Lian Lim Bursary was established for the 2013/14 academic year and is already making a difference to the lives of our students. The means-tested bursary is available to undergraduates from South East Asia and China and covers annual University and College tuition fees.

Recent graduate Paul Batty received the William Mason Bursary during his time at Oriel:

‘Before I became a recipient of the William Mason Bursary, I had to sacrifice my reading lists to paid work in order to prepare myself for the financial burden of my first Oxford term. My results may well have suffered without it.’

Paul Batty, 2009, English and French
