Recognising Your Gift

Oriel was built on philanthropy. The support we receive from Orielenses is vital to maintaining our traditions of academic success and a welcoming environment, and is a wonderful tribute to the bond between the College and its alumni.

Every single donation and new recurring gift is acknowledged with a thank you letter from the College, as gesture of our gratitude. We have also established giving societies in order to recognise those who show an exceptional level of support towards Oriel. You can read more about these societies by following the links below.

The 1326 Society

The 1326 Society was established in 2012 to recognise those who make a generous annual contribution to the College. The Society is named for the year of the foundation of the College by Adam de Brome; philanthropic support has been vital to the College throughout the centuries, and regular gifts allow us to plan for the future.
