Oriel will be hosting a tour and dinner for Orielenses on Friday, 22nd February 2019 at Old Trafford, the Home of Manchester United.Orielensis and Manchester United CFO Cliff Baty (1988) will be our speaker for the evening, who will reflect on how his time at Oriel has led to him becoming CFO at one of the biggest global sports teams. We do hope that Old Trafford will prove to be anexciting choice of venue!

Guests will begin the evening with a guided tour of the world famous football stadium, followed by a drinks reception and finishing with a three-course dinner. The dress code for the occasion is smart, and Orielenses are more than welcome to bring guests. Timings for the event are as follows:

18:00 – Arrival and Tour
19:10 – Drinks
20:00 – Dinner

Standard ticket: £120
Young alumni ticket (matric 2004 or after): £95
Table of eight: £900

Cliff has also kindly offered to donate 2x general admission tickets to the Manchester United vs Liverpool game taking place on the same weekend (please note at the moment the match is listed at 15:00 on Saturday, 23rd February, but may change due to television scheduling), as well as other merchandise, which will be raffled at the dinner. Everyone at the Dinner will automatically receive a raffle ticket.

The stadium boasts 5000 parking spaces, so those wishing to travel by car will be able to park for the duration of the event free of charge. Old Trafford is only 2 miles from Manchester City Centre and a short walk from the stunning waterfront location of Salford Quays, so those wishing to book overnight accommodation will have plenty of options.
