The annual Oriel London Dinner, this year is to be held at the House of Lords on Wednesday, 7 September 2022. Join us from 6.45pm for drinks and dinner in the beautiful Cholmondeley rooms which look out over the River Thames. We will also be hearing from Orielensis Lord Hannan (1990) who will be our guest speaker for the evening. You can find out more about Lord Hannan below.
Standard tickets are priced at £115 and Young Alumni (those who have matriculated from 2006 onwards) are eligible for the discounted rate of £99. Included in this price are a sparkling wine reception and three-course dinner with half a bottle of wine. All alumni are welcome to bring a guest. The dress code is black tie.
Please ensure you provide your address with your booking as we will be sending you a hard copy of your invitation, which must be presented to security to gain entry to the event.
Meet Our Speaker:
Daniel Hannan (1990), Lord Hannan of Kingsclere, is an author and columnist. He serves on the UK Board of Trade and is a Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party responsible for its international relations. He teaches at the University of Buckingham and the University of Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala. He has written nine books, including the Sunday Times bestseller How We Invented Freedom. He sat as a Conservative MEP for 21 years, and was a founder of Vote Leave. He writes regular columns for, among others, The Sunday Telegraph, The Washington Examiner and ConservativeHome.
