If you are a European resident, you may be able to maximise your gift through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE).
Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) is a collaborative giving scheme offered by a partnership of European foundations. It enables donors resident in one of the participating countries to offer financial support to non-profit organisations in other member countries.
The countries which allow you to donate through Transnational Giving are: Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Spain, and the UK.
There is a map on the TGE website which highlights all of the countries that are covered, and which can direct you to a page where you can find out more about the partner organisation that TGE works with in your country.
