This year’s Alumni Weekend will be themed around Philosophy. All alumni are invited (and are welcome to bring a guest) but we particularly encourage those who studied or have an interest in Philosophy to attend . Friday, 20th September
6.30pm – Oriel Chapel Service
7.15pm – Oriel Alumni Advisory Committee AGM, during the pre-dinner drinks, finishing by 7.25pm
7.15pm – Pre-dinner drinks for those attending the Dinner.
7.45pm – Oriel Alumni Dinner in Hall (dress code: black tie). At the end of the Friday Dinner, Dr Oliver Pooley and Dr Tushar Menon will hold a brief conversation about the philosophy of time.
Booking is required and there will be a limited number of Young Alumni Tickets available at a reduced rate for those Orielenses who matriculated in 2004 or after. Please note that guests of young alumni must pay the normal price unless they also matriculated at Oriel in 2004 or after.

11.30am – 12.30pm – “From Oxford to the Empire: the Cowley Fathers at home and abroad”, a talk from Theology Tutor Dr Serenhedd James in the Harris Lecture Theatre
1.00 – 2.30pm: Lunch in the Champneys Room
